Regular price $200.00The 2002 Grande Reserve is a very limited release of museum stock, aged in bottle in a temperature-controlled cellar to our benchmark of 20 years.
The best fruit from only the best vintages makes the grade for our iconic Grande Reserve. 2002 was the first vintage of Grande Reserve that Pat ever made.
As Cabernet ages, the acid and tannin density lessens, and the flavours soften and integrate. Secondary and tertiary characteristics emerge, developing from fruit-driven to more savoury elements like leather and pencil shavings.
2002 is ready to enjoy now but will age and develop in complexity for another 20 years if stored correctly.
STORAGE: Should you wish to store the wine for a longer period of time, please ensure it is stored horizontally in a cellar or a temperature and humidity-controlled environment in the dark.
HOW TO CONSUME: Grande Reserve 2002 should be decanted for around 15 mins before drinking, and enjoyed within one hour.
