Fresh & fruity in it's youth, now displaying the unique characteristics & distinguished flavours that a well made Riesling can. This Riesling has been cellared for 7 years before release & shows intense aromas of citrus, lanolin & a distinctive toasty character. The palate is delicately layered showing lime blossom & a wonderful mouth feel that extends to a crisp finish.

TASTING NOTE:
Time in the cellar has allowed this Riesling to evolve into a wine of remarkable complexity. Aromas of candied citrus, warm buttered brioche and gentle toast rise from the glass, underpinned by classic lime notes. The palate is silky and layered, revealing lime blossom, hints of honey and a supple mouthfeel, all balanced by vibrant acidity that drives a lingering, precise finish.
VINTAGE NOTE:
The 2018 vintage was considered outstanding, with a warm, dry growing season and perfect ripening weather. An unusual November frost reduced crop levels, but what was picked was considered fantastic quality. An early picked, intense and short vintage.
